Job Description: As a DIBS Senior Manager, you will lead the development and identification of innovative opportunities at Baker Tilly. This encompasses creating strategic goals and success metrics, exploring new channels for diverse talent, establishing networks with key stakeholders, and devising processes and programs for the integration and development of diverse talent. Additionally, you will collaborate with market leaders to identify opportunities for Baker Tilly to strengthen its partnerships with community-based organizations and initiatives aligned with our firm’s DIBS strategy.
Responsibilities:
Project Management & Consulting
Liaison and build relationships with relevant cross-functional key stakeholders and support the continued development of the DIBS team.
Utilize strong project management skills to drive accountability and actions to advance the DIBS strategy within the organization.
Provide subject matter expertise, strategic planning, coaching, education, and consultancy to senior stakeholders to drive key DIBS business outcomes.
Recognize and respond to regional, local, and remote dynamics related to an ever-evolving DIBS and business landscape.
Employee Engagement
Implement best and leading practices to enhance retention and engagement of Baker Tilly’s diverse team member population.
Continue to execute the SOAR, Nextgen, and GROW strategies and provide leadership and support to empower and strengthen our internal communities.
Champion and scale initiatives nationally and globally across a diverse, remote, and multifunctional organization as we grow as a firm.
Training & Development
Design and facilitate DIBS trainings for newly combined firms.
Collaborate with the Learning Department to take ownership of DIBS learning initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Advance degree preferred/beneficial in Organizational Behavior, HR, Education.
PMP certification preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience with progressive leadership experience in HR and/or DEI roles.
Experience managing and influencing internal leadership and working across an organization with multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in developing cutting-edge strategy and driving process improvements with regard to diversity and inclusion issues in the workplace.
Excellent communication skills, including effective writing, listening, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Proven willingness and ability to be hands-on, and work in a fast-paced environment.
15-20% travel (conferences, training, etc).
