What does the Watershed Protection Department do?POSITION OVERVIEW:The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) serves as a strategic advisor and leader, overseeing and ensuring the efficient operation of key administrative functions within the Watershed Protection Department. Reporting directly to the Office of the Director, the CAO is responsible for providing leadership to the Human Resources, Administrative Services, Safety Resources & Emergency Management, Department Executive Assistant, and Request for Council Actions (RCA)/Council Item Update Report (CIUR) Coordination sections/programs. This position plays a pivotal role in aligning departmental policies, resources, and processes with the organization’s mission and goals, fostering a culture of operational excellence, compliance, and service delivery.
