Senior Associate Director, Ticket Operations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree.
Relevant work experience to equal at least 6 years.
Experience working with Paciolan ticketing systems.
Experience working with the Eloqua email marketing platform.
Ability to work non-standard hours including nights and weekends.
Ability to work independently and prioritize revenue generating opportunities.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working within the University of Minnesota System.
Experience supervising ticket operations for collegiate sporting events at the Power 4 level.
Experience managing ticket operations for a division 1 hockey program.
Experience supervising full or part time staff.
Experience transitioning to and maintaining digital ticketing.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
HTML experience or desire to learn.
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service background.
POSITION SUMMARY (PURPOSE OF POSITION):Provide advanced leadership and strategic oversight to the ticket operations and sales departments, including, but not limited to: ticket operations, ticket sales, and business intelligence departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
30% - Serve as the primary ticket operations contact for men's hockey and select other sports or B1G and NCAA Championship events. Responsible for the planning, organizing and administering of season, group, individual, and complimentary tickets for assigned sports. Set up events and maintain seating manifests. Evaluate ticket pricing and revenue trends and make strategic decisions on pricing to maximize ticket and annual fund revenue.
20% - Serve as the secondary point of contact for Football ticket operations. Serve as the primary point of contact in the football game day box office and oversee all game day staff of up to 15-20 individuals.
20% - Serve as the director supervisor for one (1) Ticket Coordinator position. Provide strategic oversight for this individual that will be the primary ticketing contact for women’s basketball, wrestling and baseball.
15% - Make daily operational decisions and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the office.
5% - Supervise and train student and part time staff and assist with scheduling for office duties and events.
5% - Balance and reconcile ticket sales and complimentary tickets in conjunction with the Ticket Office Senior Accountant.
5% - Create and maintain collaborative relationships with contacts from other departments within Gopher Athletics such as the Golden Gopher Fund, Marketing, Event Management, Facilities, Coaching Staffs, etc.
DESIRED OUTCOMES:
Drive efficiencies in all ticketing related departments as they regard communication, production, and accuracy.
Represent the University of Minnesota in a positive manner both on and off duty.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Game day duties will require weekend and/or evening scheduling.
