Position Summary:In collaboration with the Vice President, Internal Communications, the Sr. Manager, Communications will lead the development and management of the Company’s employee value proposition (EVP), brand assets, and creation and application of branded materials across a wide variety of touchpoints. This role will work collaboratively across the Company to keep Associates connected to our values and business priorities using various communication channels and methods.
Job Duties:
Lead the strategy, planning, design, execution and measurement of efforts to bring our employee value proposition to life for current and prospective Associates through compelling visuals, storytelling, and messaging.
Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities to incorporate the Company’s EVP into existing Associate activities and touchpoints.
Oversee the execution of all creative projects for Human Resources, including but not limited to the development of recruitment, learning, recognition, and benefits materials.
Define vision for employee value proposition visual language and execute projects in alignment with brand standards and vision.
Work with internal and partner stakeholders to develop content and updates for internal and external communication channels, including email, intranet, video, podcasts, social media, and the careers website.
Work with team members and business partners to deliver end-to-end communications plans for internal announcements and news.
Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute internal communications programs, visuals, and strategies.
Create content for key documents, presentations, and talking points and ensure they are delivered through the appropriate channel, often with fast turnaround time.
Oversee the development and management of a brand asset library, including photography, iconography, video, messaging, etc.
Support the execution of change management plans and programs.
Provide creative direction and support for divisions or corporate group projects and initiatives as needed.
Develop relationships across all divisions and corporate groups to support the organization's objectives.
Manage work independently, with self-direction, organization, and advance planning on all programs, while engaging leadership to remove hurdles and garner buy-in.
Watch industry trends and identify when/where we need to invest in new systems and tools to keep communications methods and channels current and relevant.
Develop and manage vendor and external partner relationships needed to execute high-quality work.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
5+ years experience in communications or brand marketing.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple, complex creative projects and programs simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
Deep understanding of graphic design principles and ability to effectively communicate and interpret design needs and feedback.
Experience with employee engagement and broad-based employee-focused communication.
Self-starter, independent thinker with excellent follow-through, requiring minimal supervision.
Detail-oriented and organized, capable of problem-solving and remaining calm under pressure.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent collaboration & teaming skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff.
Strong proficiency in Google Productivity Suite (Docs, Slides, Drive, etc).
Deep expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc).
Preferred Qualifications:
Video production/editing skills.
Employment brand management or recruitment marketing experience.
Experience with intranet tools such as LumApps.
Experience with user-friendly content creation tools such as Canva.
Compensation:Base Pay Range: $115,500.00 - $151,700.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
