Responsible for franchise revenue accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, payroll, fixed assets and other relevant finance areas.Job PurposeFinancial month end close using QuickBooks accounting softwareEnsure financial transactions are recorded in compliance with accounting standards (Franchise Accounting, IFRS, and US GAAP)Monthly schedules supporting our books and annual external auditProcess staff expense claims and payment to vendorsPayrollTracking of actual costs vs budgetSupport preparation of annual budget and monthly forecastLiaise with external payroll admin service provider, external auditor, company tax agent and relevant government agenciesSupport overseas head office on finance queriesJob Requirements
SkillsProficient in QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of accounting (IFRS and US GAAP) and banking practice standardsKnowledge of local tax laws and labor lawsClear, concise and professional communicationGood rapport with management team and office colleaguesStrong relationship management with customers and suppliersDiscretion in handling payroll and confidential mattersHaving a positive attitude and the initiative to work well without supervisionExcellent time management, able to prioritize among competing tasksAbility to work well under deadline pressureEducation and ExperienceDegree or equivalent in Accounting/FinanceAt least 5 years of accounting experienceExperience in Food & Beverage, franchise or restaurant industry required
