Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
7 years of experience in public accounting or a tech company, including experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
7 years of experience with financial reporting/operational accounting.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with US GAAP and internal control best practices.
Experience creating accounting memos and process documentation.
Experience implementing and improving business processes and systems.
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
Ability to effectively adapt to changing responsibilities and priorities, in a sometimes ambiguous and evolving area of scope.

Responsibilities
Be responsible for day-to-day operations and close processes, including preparation or review of journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet and Profit and Loss (P&L) variance analysis, monthly financial reporting, etc.
Manage accounting transactions and systems solutions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Conduct technical accounting research and prepare process documentation on complex or non-routine transactions in a clear, logical, and comprehensive manner.
Collaborate on the development and implementation of accounting controls, processes, and documentation to mitigate risks.
Build cross-functional relationships across departments to support company initiatives, ensuring adherence to global policies.
