Finance DirectorWe are looking for an exceptional Finance Director to join our growing team. In this partnership, you will have the ability to help build tools to enable us to be better, more efficient and continue to grow our business.JOB DESCRIPTION:This role reports to the Director of Finance with a subsequent line of responsibility to the Director of Operations. Responsible for communicating financial, operational and strategic business insight to Managers/supervisors; providing leadership and controls to assist in achieving scalability for rapid account growth, forecasting accuracy and quality objectives.PRINCIPLE DUTIESAdvise the Senior Management Team on decisions relating to the financial performance of the account, including site operations financial support.Provide feedback and analysis of financial and operation performance of the account to the Director of Operations.Ensure timely and accurate consolidated reporting for the account according to GAAP and IFRS.Contractual expert for the contract, to ensure compliance with the client and contract requirements.Direct link between Operations and Finance by actively identifying all significant contract risks and opportunities, prioritizing activities to secure opportunities and mitigate risks, keeping business fully informed and aware.Manage account finance team including billing, payroll and all areas of local compliance.Influence business decisions based on an understanding, analysis and interpretation of financial and non-financial information. Be proactive and predictive.Conduct evaluations for opportunities for improvement with site level variance reviews.Monthly analysis of current month results as well as forward looking forecast.Continuously look for ways to drive improvements in account return on revenue.Manage the budget, estimate and forecasting processes by formulating strategic and long-term business plans.Provide oversight of account finance team and functions and ensure compliance with Company policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements.Billing confirmation (external).Cash collection meetings and reviews.Assist operations and projects teams in pricing and bid reviews to include amendment or Change note submissions.Client ad hoc requests including detailed data requests and pricing.Contract execution for union and mandatory price increases and inflation reviews.Support audit requests.Drive implementation of new compliance standards.Ensure compliance with accounting standards.Assist Operations in monitoring performance metrics throughout the month in order to correct issues and give the Director of Finance advance notice of expected deviations from Budget/Forecast.Prepare and deliver extensive financial presentations monthly for the account leadership team.Special projects as needed.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree (Finance, Accounting or a related field).Experience:5+ years of financial management experience in a client interfacing role preferred.GAAP and IFRS knowledge.Experience with job costing ERP system.Power BI Experience preferred.Experience in service industry preferred.Skills:Ability to communicate with all levels within a client’s management structure.Good team player and Manager.Ability to analyze, change, improve processes.Prioritize multiple ongoing projects concurrently and complete projects timely and accurately.Able to command credibility and be able to influence.Strong analytical excel skills required.Passion for food & service and a desire to want to be part of an amazing and unique program.Problem solving skills and initiative.Be a partner and mentor to others.Work EnvironmentThis job is performed primarily in an office setting.OtherThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification. The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 per year - $190,000 per year.
