With over 1,000 employees globally, we believe partnership will change the way the world innovates.Position OverviewIH&S seeks a Finance Director to support the Life Science Optics business. The position is responsible for the overall P&L management, direction, and integrity of the accounting, finance, systems, and financial reporting functions for IDEX Health & Science Life Science Optics business.The Director actively partners with the LSO General Manager, IH&S VP Finance, and other IH&S finance leadership in the planning, direction, and policy implementation for the business. The leader will provide strategic and technical leadership to assure adequate control environment; guidance to achieve sustainable and profitable growth; and communicates and supports the strategic and operational plans of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and lead an aggressive monthly business rhythm, providing accurate financial results and forecast updates to Corporate.Review and summarize monthly consolidated financial results, oversees and provides direction on accounting theory and IDEX policy.Responsible for annual operating plan process, monthly forecasting/reporting, and supports strategic planning.Responsible for asset preservation and working capital management.Develop and implement a robust internal control framework and ensure compliance throughout the organization.Partner with the Vice President of Operations and staff in managing the manufacturing unit’s efficiency and productivity.Manage talent by selecting, training, motivating, and developing the finance operations staff.Job QualificationsDegree in Accounting or Finance and/or MBA required.Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible accounting and leadership experience.Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and implementing accounting and financial reporting standards.Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Advanced PC/ERP/Database experience.Thorough knowledge of SOX requirements.Superior verbal and written communication skills.Total RewardsThe compensation range for this position is $134,400.00 - $201,600.00, depending on experience.
