Senior Financial Analyst
to work within the Navy Sustainment Program Finance organization. You will be working for an organization that is noted for its teamwork across functional boundaries. The position offers an excellent opportunity for someone to learn and expand their abilities in the finance and business management disciplines. You will be an essential team member performing program cost reporting and financial analysis functions.The position involves the generation of internal cost reports, monitoring and analysis of cost data and financial planning systems and resources, and compiling quarterly estimate at completion (EAC) for presentation to program and finance management.What You Will Do
Provide weekly and monthly cost and performance monitoring and reports inclusive of development of quarterly EAC's.Perform detailed financial analysis for functional area & product level cost element breakdowns to help define and understand the monthly variances to Budget baseline and EAC positions, and support the Latest Revised Estimates (LREs) process.Support EAC requirements of the program, support inquiries and investigations into billing and funding questions/issues and other ad hoc requests.Responsibility will also include providing internal financial planning (e.g., bookings, sales, profit, and cash forecasting and analysis) and billing support of Manual Invoice Requests (MIRs).You will be responsible for all the Financial Analysis and Business Management for assigned IPT(s) or PM under the Navy Sustainment Program.The position requires a thorough knowledge of Finance, Accounting and Business development.A critical function of the position is assisting in consolidating, reporting and analyzing the financial performance of the Program to meet forecasting and AOP guidance.Assist in the preparation of weekly analysis and communication of performance, risks, and opportunities to management is critical.You must be able to work in a highly dynamic, high-pressure environment.This role helps cultivate improvement initiatives with a focus on continuous control monitoring through utilization of Raytheon’s systems and accounting processes.As assigned, responsibilities include variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting and Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development.Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.Working knowledge of SAP System Tools, Microsoft Excel.Qualifications We Prefer
Excellent communication skills required to coordinate financial data and inputs across multiple Production sites across the U.S. and internationally.The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operating in a team environment, supporting the Functional business efforts will be fundamental to thrive in this role and will help maximize the shareholder value of the organization work effort.Business management covers a wide set of requirements, so you will need to show flexibility in job abilities and excellent communication skills.What We Offer
