Raytheon's Advanced Products & Solutions finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to work within the Navy Sustainment Finance organization. The position offers an excellent opportunity for someone to learn and expand their abilities in the finance and FP&A disciplines. You will be an essential team member performing FP&A reporting and financial analysis functions.You will be responsible for driving the FP&A cadence, leading consolidation, analysis, the forecasting of financial metrics (Bookings, Sales, Profit and Cash), Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP), and Long-Range Strategic Planning across the Fire Control Radar Sustainment (FCRS) portfolio.
What You Will DoSupport all FCRS FP&A activities.Support accurate and timely analysis of financial performance, key metrics (Bookings, Sales, Profit, Cash), element of cost, and provide early identification and communication of issues impacting financial performance.Provide support to various RFS FP&A efforts and requests: Balance Sheet, Short Range Outlook (SRO), Gap Closure, NBI Spending, CFRs, Cash Analysis.The position requires a thorough knowledge of Finance, Accounting and FP&A.A critical function of the position is assisting in consolidating, reporting and analyzing the financial performance of many programs to meet forecasting and AOP guidance.Assist in the preparation of weekly analysis and communication of performance, risks, and opportunities to management is critical.You must be able to work in a highly dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.Working knowledge of SAP System Tools, Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications We PreferExperience with RPLAN, AO Reporting, prior FP&A experience.Excellent communication skills required to coordinate financial data and inputs across multiple Production sites across the U.S. and internationally.The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operating in a team environment will be fundamental to thrive in this role and will help maximize the shareholder value of the organization work effort.Business management covers a wide set of requirements, so you will need to show flexibility in job abilities and excellent communication skills.
