Our expertise covers a broad spectrum of alternative asset strategies, including private equity, hedge, credit, venture capital and infrastructure.Day-to-day responsibilities:Develop financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and option pricing analysesConduct valuation analysis on a diverse range of illiquid investments distributed across industries and geographies, employing established and relevant approaches and theoryBe proactive and self-motivated, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and delivering actionable results within tight deadlinesManage teams of senior associates and analystsConduct client interviews, including face-to-face meetings, to gather essential data and information for engagementsCollaborate with internal and external management teams to cultivate and strengthen client relationshipsIdentify and communicate potential engagements to management and lead the engagement proposal processPresent analyses and conclusions verbally and in written reportsParticipate in relevant industry events to expand knowledge and gain experience within the alternative asset industryQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBAMinimum 4 years of developing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, commodity contracts / forecasts, and contingent claims analysisProficient in data analysis and business intelligence techniquesExperience in managing diverse engagement teams and clientsWorking knowledge of authoritative guidance related to valuation (AICPA Guide, ASC 820 and IFRS 13), valuation industry best practices and emerging issuesFamiliarity with software packages like Alteryx, Tableau, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointWorking knowledge of market data sources such as Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQStrong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on representing diverse communitiesExperience working in the traditional energy, renewable energy and infrastructure industriesAbout KrollJoin the global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions—Kroll.
