Kaseya Culture .Role: Accounting Manager (Reporting)Location: Miami, FLFull-Time PositionAre you ready to make an impact?Responsibilities and Duties:Review tie-out documentation for financial statements and externally-facing reportsInterface with external auditors and legal counsel to ensure timely filing of all required documentsPrepare statement of cash flowsPerform flux analysis for balance sheet and income statement, investigate questions and provide assistant controllers detailed explanations.Participate in monthly closing procedures, including the preparation and validation of journal entries, supporting backup and account reconciliations.Oversee and execute completion of all close processes timely and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and company policy and procedures.Take ownership of general ledger operations and processes related to specific subsidiaries.Act as the strategic partner to finance leadership in driving & streamlining process improvements within the close process.Collaborate with legal, FP&A, Global commissions, Procurement, Account Payable, professional services, and Tax to ensure expenses are recognized in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies.Manage, mentor, and develop staff membersConduct ad-hoc analysis and tasks as requestedHandle special projects related to technology, systems, automation, new initiatives, or other requestsCreate Alteryx workflows to automate processes with systems implementation.Skills/Competencies:Experience of preparation of the SEC filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Qs, 8-K) and disclosure checklist.Ensure that the company is in compliance with all financial policies, US GAAP, and SEC-related reporting requirements.Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Possess agility and ability to prioritizeCollaborative with others at all levels within and outside FinanceStrong organization skills and attention to detailResults-orientedAnalytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with developing, implementing, and executing effective internal controlsStrong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)Support a team of accountants, including the review of journal entries and reconciliationsContinuous improvement mindset with a proven ability to implement process improvements.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controlsExperience in working with multiple legal entities globallyQualifications:CPA or an equivalent certification is required.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.5+ years of work experience in an accounting role, including experience as a manager.Previous experience in a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm is a plus.Previous experience with a Publicly traded company is a plus.Team player with a strong work ethic.Experience with Capitalized Software and Commission Capitalization is a plus.Strong financial and analytical skills including substantial experience with accounting principles and financial statement analysis.Experience working with NetSuite and/or Oracle Cloud is preferred.
