As a Solutions Engineer you will work with other engineers, organizational leaders, sales and customers to design install and support solutions for our customers in new and exciting robotic applications.Duties and Responsibilities:Work with Regional Sales Teams and our Customers to design robotic solutionsSee the process through by going into the field to assist with the install, program and verify solution integrity as neededSupport our customers as they find new and innovative ways to use our productsDevelop supporting materials such as sample code, white papers and application notesAssist in-house engineering with the design and testing of features and integrations as neededParticipate in Regional Tradeshows and product demosTravel 50%-75% Monday to Friday to assist our customers and support our locationsMentor and provide expertise to other engineers and salespeopleOther technical and sales duties as requiredOther responsibilities as warranted by businesses needs and leaderships directionQualifications:Bachelor’s in Electrical, Software, Mechanical or Robotics + minimum 5 years experience in automation, controls or related fieldExperience with PLC, HMI, industrial computer, industrial communication and I/O, robotics, sensors, safety, machine vision and industrial motion control preferredStrong analytical thinking and organizational skills, with attention to detail and documentationAbility to communicate to varied audiences at different levels of abstraction – high and low levelExperience selecting and integrating a wide range of sensors, pneumatics and industrial networking devices preferredMust excel in dynamic and ambitious environments, working with a diverse group of individuals and backgroundsWhy Build a Career with Us?
