Description: We’re looking for seasoned and skilled customer facing problem-solvers to help architect the future of robotics through the design, installation and support of innovative new solutions. As a Solutions Engineer you will work with other engineers, organizational leaders, sales and customers to design, install and support solutions for our customers in new and exciting robotic applications. Duties and Responsibilities: Work with Regional Sales Teams and our Customers to design robotic solutions. See the process through by going into the field to assist with the install, program and verify solution integrity as needed. Support our customers as they find new and innovative ways to use our products. Develop supporting materials such as sample code, white papers and application notes. Assist in-house engineering with the design and testing of features and integrations as needed. Participate in Regional Tradeshows and product demos. Travel 50%-75% Monday to Friday to assist our customers and support our locations. Mentor and provide expertise to other engineers and salespeople. Other technical and sales duties as required. Other responsibilities as warranted by business needs and leadership direction. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Electrical, Software, Mechanical or Robotics + minimum 5 years experience in automation, controls or related field. Experience with PLC, HMI, industrial computer, industrial communication and I/O, robotics, sensors, safety, machine vision and industrial motion control preferred. Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills, with attention to detail and documentation. Ability to communicate to varied audiences at different levels of abstraction – high and low level. Experience selecting and integrating a wide range of sensors, pneumatics and industrial networking devices preferred. Must excel in dynamic and ambitious environments, working with a diverse group of individuals and backgrounds.
