Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct audits in compliance with auditing standards.
Establish and prolong robust client relationships, acting as the main point of contact as needed.
Identify operational issues and recommend enhancements.
Maintain clear communication about project status and deliverables timelines.
Ensure all projects are executed within set engagement schedules.
Travel as required to meet client needs and maintain engagement effectiveness.
Contribute to and participate in training sessions and firm-wide activities to promote continual growth and unity.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Deep passion for serving nonprofit organizations.
Loyalty and strong eagerness to learn and adapt.
A minimum of 5 years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field.
Currently a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively working towards obtaining this certification.
Demonstrated superior verbal and written communication capacities.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and initiate projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a leadership or managerial role within a CPA firm is highly favorable.
Proven track record of managing audit engagements for nonprofit clients.
Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility in handling assignments and in-office/remote work environments.
A strong desire and readiness to step into a partnership position.
