Postdoctoral Associate/Research Scientist
in neuroscience research is available at the Memory and Aging Center, Department of Neurology, University of California San Francisco in the United States.
We are looking for highly self-motivated and productive individuals with experience in neuroimaging and electrophysiology to join our research team. Our team consists of a multidisciplinary clinician-scientist work group, and we are committed to studying the neural circuit dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease (AD). We use multimodal neuroimaging approaches including magnetoencephalography, molecular imaging (amyloid-PET, tau-PET), structural MRI and clinical and cognitive evaluations in patients with neurodegenerative diseases and healthy older populations. The focus of the current highlighted project is to study neural circuit hyperexcitability in AD.
Minimum Requirements:
Research background in studying systems/cellular neuroscience is required.
Applicants should have a PhD in neuroscience/neurobiology with related publications.
Experience in studying neurodegenerative diseases/sleep, time series analysis, skills in Matlab/Python, molecular imaging (PET image analysis), and/or neurobehavioral testing are preferred.
