Program Manager II, Last Mile Analytics and Quality
Amazon, a Fortune 500 company based in Seattle, Washington, is the global leader in e-commerce. Amazon’s Last Mile Analytics & Quality team is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-obsessed Program Manager to manage projects, implement and improve metrics, and collaborate with Amazon’s technology, product, business, and operations teams to create solutions for our internal and external customers.To be successful in this role, you need a passion for making data-driven decisions that will have a direct impact on the customer experience. Keys to your success include effective communication to various audiences and the ability to remain flexible and adept at learning new tools and systems. Our environment is deadline-driven, fast-paced, and requires you to be detail-oriented while interacting with multiple teams (business and technical).The ideal candidate has a background in running large, cross-functional projects and is comfortable working on high-level strategy as well as implementation. They have demonstrated the ability to build customized logistics solutions, drive process improvement, standardize procedures, and eliminate the root causes of defects within current systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure, often ambiguous work environment are essential. A passion for customer service is a must.Key Responsibilities:Program manage the solution for last-mile related problems from identification, scoping, and sizing to creating long-term solutions in partnership with tech, product, business, and operations.Define success criteria for programs, audit processes, and create/drive the right metrics to track and influence program health.Collaborate with multiple teams as a subject matter expert in the Transportation and logistics domain to develop solutions that utilize high standards of analytical rigor and data integrity.Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations.Analyze and solve business problems at their root.Minimum Requirements:2+ years of program or project management experience.2+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.2+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.Bachelor's degree.Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.3+ years of driving process improvements.Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
