OverviewMicrosoft's Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We are looking for a talented Director of Network Supply Chain to help build sustainable advantages through the supply chain. Cloud Sourcing, Spares, Sustainability & Security (CS4) organization within CSCP manages sourcing and supply of IT hardware for the data centers. Well-defined and executed sourcing and supply chain management ensures reliable on-time performance, optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.ResponsibilitiesManage and lead team responsible for 3PL relationship, performance and strategy.Define and implement our overall supply management strategy to ensure available supply, mitigate E&O risk and assure clear visibility into material availability.Coordinate internally with engineering, Sourcing and Supply Planning to ensure T&Cs, processes and tooling in line with MSFT requirements.Negotiate favorable terms for MSFT, supporting CSCP goals.Define and implement our overall supply management strategy to increase available supply, mitigate E&O risk and assure clear visibility into material availability.Manage supplier performance and compliance through developing and enabling new suppliers, and analyzing financial health of supplier ecosystem to support partnership recommendations.Define and manage metrics to assure team is meeting deliverables and meeting service level requirements for meeting demand requirements.OtherEmbody our Culture and Values.
