As a Director, Technology Procurement, you will support the team in partnering with all our brands and helping influence and guide programs with unique and distinctive products and services. We are committed to offering leadership development opportunities and programs through every step of a Team Member’s career journey and at every level, both in our hotels and across corporate.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTYour role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.What your day-to-day will be like:Implement HSM’s strategic procurement process for all Technology purchases across the enterpriseManage a subcategory of Technology contracts and spendNegotiate and implement Hilton enterprise-wide supplier agreements/contracts for the best possible cost and service guarantee by working with cross-functional business partners and suppliers to reach an agreement on contract terms and conditionsDevelop Statements of Work or Scopes of Work (SOW), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposal (RFP). Work with key partners and Legal to develop contracts on any exceptions to standard contract languageEvaluate supplier strengths and competitive positioning using industry cost modelsAnalyze industry trends and evolving technology to identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect the continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunitiesEstablish purchasing policies and ensure compliance within the departmentImprove productivity and efficiency of processes throughout the operational organizationHow you will collaborate with others:Implement Hilton enterprise-wide supplier agreements/contracts when helpful by working with partners and suppliers to reach an agreement on contract terms and conditions. Work with partners and Legal to develop contracts on any exceptions to the standardLead a small team of Procurement professionals to distribute work and meet performance objectivesWhat projects you will take ownership of:Lead contractual negotiations and coordinate contract administration for all areas and vendors that fall under this larger programWHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FITYou have these minimum qualifications:Seven (7) years working in purchasing, procurement, supply chain management, contract negotiations, or P&L managementFive (5) years of experience in Technology Sourcing and Vendor Management and/or Procurement experience with software, hardware, or technology services purchasesIt would be useful if you have:BA/BS Bachelor’s DegreeTen (10) years of experience in Technology, or Hospitality supply chain management and contract negotiationsUnderstanding of and working knowledge of eProcurement tools, such as Coupa or similarIdeal experience in the electronic supply chain industry or specialized knowledge with retailCPSM, CPM, or CHA certificationWHAT IT IS LIKE WORKING FOR HILTONHilton, the #1 World's Best Workplace, is a leading global hospitality company with a diverse portfolio of world-class brands.
