Overview:The PD Project Director Int, Product Development, is responsible for overseeing architecture, technical roadmap planning, and the successful delivery of one or more services with their own release/deployment life cycle.This role encompasses various aspects of product development, including collaboration with the product management team, managing technical aspects, and working closely with other services development teams to foster innovative synergies across Blue Yonder's product portfolio.Responsibilities:Develops, maintains, and implements multiple projects across different teams.Demonstrates expertise in relevant technologies, products, and tools.Assists in identifying opportunities to introduce machine learning/artificial intelligence capabilities into services, advocating for their value proposition.Contributes domain knowledge to the solution and product area.Collaborates with the team to design services that offer unique features, enhancing the product offering.Participates in identifying suitable platforms and technologies for the product.Leverages Blue Yonder's platform technologies as required for a consistent user experience.Ensures compliance with CSO directives on security within the product architecture and production deployment.Contributes to architecting services for high availability, resilience, reliability, scalability, low latency, extensibility, and comprehensive documentation.Supports cost-effective solutions that align with targeted SaaS margins by minimizing runtime and operational/support costs.Contributes to making the solution stand out and create an impact upon launch.Collaborates on managing technical issues, coding, and configuration to ensure successful module and project delivery.Assists in project management activities, including release planning, delivery, progress monitoring, and reporting.Contributes to the formulation of tactical plans for development and ensures their timely execution.Facilitates cross-team communication to report progress and assist in resolving impediments.Qualifications:A Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Engineering (e.g., Software Engineering, Computer Engineering), Information Technology, or other relevant technical or business-related degrees.Candidates with industry certifications or advanced degrees may be preferred. Continuing education and professional development are encouraged to stay current with evolving technologies and industry trends.Minimum of 15+ years of experience in roles involving product development, technical architecture, or design with strong project management skills.A track record of contributing to complex projects across multiple teams.Familiarity with relevant technologies, products, and tools in software and product development.An interest in exploring opportunities to integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence into product offerings.A willingness to learn and be part of ground-up innovation in ML/AI technologies.A basic understanding of domain concepts and their application in solution and product development.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and contribute effectively to product architecture.Familiarity with security directives within product architecture and production deployment.An ability to work within architectural guidelines and produce well-documented services.Knowledge of cost-effective solutions that meet SaaS margin targets.Proficiency in problem-solving, particularly in technical challenges.Exposure to project management practices and processes.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.Salary and Benefits:The salary range for this position is $140,640 - $216,924. The salary range information provided reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses, and other relevant factors.
