.You will be a Test Pilot on the Lockheed Martin Flight Operations Team. Our team is looking for an energetic test pilot who wants to be on the cutting edge of technology.What You Will Be Doing

As a Test Pilot supporting our Advanced Development Programs, better known as Skunk Works, you will transform and accelerate our programs. We want a person who is willing to provide leadership, apply technical acumen, and make the team better.Your responsibilities will include:Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI) development, requirements development, market assist.Subject matter expert on all aspects of aircraft development, test, fielding, and sustainment.Subject matter expert for flight test to include flight test planning, run card development, test execution and reporting.Fly manned and unmanned missions such as experimental, developmental, production, engineering flight test, test support, customer demonstration flights and others as assigned.Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.What’s In It For You

You are a multi-faceted teammate able to communicate and function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative and inclusive environment that allows for the establishment of mission goals. You have experience with itemized planning and prioritization of tasks that drives the efficient execution of objectives.Basic Qualifications:

Graduate of a military recognized Test Pilot School or equivalent experience.Current FAA Class I or II medical certificate.Suitable FAA Commercial Pilot (SE and/or ME Land, Instrument Airplane) or Airline Transport Pilot certificate.Must be willing to travel and have a valid U.S. passport.TOP SECRET security clearance.Desired Skills:

1,000 hours first pilot time.Experience in all flight test disciplines to include weapons, avionics, and flight sciences.Instructor/training experience a plus.Strong communication and organizational skills.Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed.Schedule for this Position:
