Principal Product Manager - Technical
to join us in sunny Santa Barbara to help us build the future. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and executing on opportunities to bring information to Amazon customers everywhere.Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:Lead the development and implementation of high-quality product roadmaps based on product strategy and visionAssume end-to-end responsibility for the strategic value, usability, and performance of our productsManage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, scope, and time to marketWork closely with engineering teams, design, and business development stakeholders to deliver products to marketProactively identify and resolve strategic issues to help the team meet business, financial, and technical goalsManage product planning and development through day-to-day collaboration and decision making with a cross-functional team including engineers, designers, and business development partner teamsDevelop detailed, crisp user stories with acceptance criteria based on customer needs/experience and business requirements that can be used to create product specifications and architectureWork with UX Research to design usability and research studies to inform product requirements and influence product design and experienceDefine and analyze metrics that measure and benchmark product successDrive product launches including working with public relations/marketing team, customers, executives, and other team membersManage a small team of Product ManagersAbout the team

8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experienceBachelor's degreeExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience in technical product management, program management or engineeringPreferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancementsExperience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvementExperience with pricing strategy and go-to-marketExperience developing products for enterprise customersExperience managing 1+ individual contributorsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
