JOIN USAs an IT/OT specialist, you will design, integrate, commission and manage robust industrial communication systems that are reliable and secure. You will design transfer plans and carry out network migrations on live industrial sites. You will serve as a technical lead for deployment, maintenance or operational projects and will implement, configure and support industrial IT infrastructure operations.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLEDesigning and supporting wireless networksParticipate in proof-of-concept trials with the latest technologiesHelp develop IT / OT architectures and infrastructuresParticipate in carrying out testing for projects or at client sitesPerforming RF coverage studies and wireless site surveysConfigure network equipment and serversProduce technical data sheets at client sitesParticipate in rolling out and commissioning our solutionsProvide technical assistance at deployment and after project deliveryPerforming root cause analysis on communication issuesDeveloping strong relationships with our customer base and collaborate with the sales team to develop new relationships in key focus areasESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFULDiploma or Degree in Networking, Computer or Electrical Engineering OR relevant combination of education and experience5 years of experience with IT / OT infrastructureRecent working knowledge of various IT / OT infrastructure technologies (networking, wireless, cloud connectivity, data management, virtualization, cybersecurity, data management, OT data storage and visualization, remote customer connectivity)Familiar with various industrial networking protocols Modbus TCP, Profinet, Ethernet IPBilingual (English and French)Asset : Knowledge of best practices in IT infrastructure design, such as server rooms and telecommunications roomsAsset : Familiarity with Linux and Windows systems administrationABOUT USLaurentide’s purpose is To Help Industry Thrive in Eastern Canada.
