JOIN US As an Automation Services Supervisor, your understanding of the environment will allow you to understand the needs of our customers, serve them by assigning work to specialized resources for the task, and develop training plans that are as advanced as they are varied to serve our customers across all our technologies. You will supervise our automation services team who installs, inspects, diagnoses problems, improves, repairs, and updates DCS/PLC control systems to enable our customers to thrive with reliable, safe, and state-of-the-art systems. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE Supervise the work of the technical team members; Analyze and understand the needs of the customer to deliver services to their full satisfaction. Provide clearly defined mandates to team members when assigning work and collaborate closely with Project Managers and Planners. Work in close collaboration with the Director of Operations, Project Managers, and clients to meet all technical service needs. Manage the execution of the work for which the client has mandated us. Ensure compliance with internal and client health & safety standards by the team at all times. In coordination with the Trainer, implement skill development plans for each team member based on today's and tomorrow's technologies. Meet regularly with individual team members to follow up, coach, and work with each on their personal and technical development. Support, train, and coach all new team members to successfully complete their integration process. Ensure the support of the customers served by the team and follow up on the work with the customer. Manage the execution of service contracts in place by supporting the Planner in assigning service contract work. Collaborate with the sales team on service bids delivered by the team. Work closely with clients to deliver services that will help them thrive. Promote the team's services to our clients. Support the sales team in selling the services offered by the service team. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL Bilingualism in written and spoken English and French. Leadership, team player, sense of responsibility, autonomous, dynamic. Technical experience in the world of automation (DCS/PLC, SCADA, Networks, industrial computing, electricity, instrumentation, control, or other). Knowledge of the DeltaV platform is an asset. Experience in a customer service role or in a sales environment is an asset. Experience in a leadership role is an asset. Ability to work in technical areas and learn new technologies. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to build interpersonal and business relationships. Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently. Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. Passion and integrity with the desire to have a strong impact on the company. DEC/BACC in engineering technology or other technical fields.
