You will be in charge of developing our sales strategy and revenue objectives, training and assessing our sales employees, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business across various hotel sectors. Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to identify and secure new catering opportunities.Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to continuously expand and enhance our catering services.Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures.Create methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets that are in line with the hotel's overall revenue management goals.Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers.Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations.Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast.Qualifications
5+ years of experience in hospitality sales.This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills.Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.Compensation
