This role serves as the hotel representative to prospective clients and customers who need to rent rooms, meeting space, food and beverage service, etc. Responsibilities include responding to sales inquiries, initiating new sales, prospecting and qualifying leads, soliciting potential clients, entertaining clients, conducting site visits, answering questions, determining rates, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, servicing accounts, and analyzing lost business for the hotels. The role also involves developing sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals, and working with various departments to ensure requested services are provided to customers.The annual salary range for this role is $80,000-$85,000 (Plus Bonus) and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.What will I be doing?
As a Complex Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for representing the hotels to prospective clients and customers. Your specific responsibilities include:Representing the hotel by soliciting, responding to, and negotiating with persons requiring large and complex group accommodations.Initiating the preparation of proposals and/or contracts to advise prospective customers of hotel guest rooms and meeting space availability.Engaging in outside sales activities to discuss business opportunities and entertain customers in local and assigned markets.Attending weekly sales departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business operations.Conducting site inspections with potential customers, visiting guest rooms, meeting space, and banquet facilities.What are we looking for?
