The Business Systems Analyst II will be responsible for coding/development, analysis and testing work associated with but not limited to client correspondence generated from a variety of system platforms. Supporting document analysis, design, test case creation, unit, user acceptance testing along with impact assessments from project or enhancement initiatives to identify and implement changes to documents. Partnering directly with tech & business teams to identify and source data needed to produce documents. Provides support to offshore resources and testers.Key ResponsibilitiesHandles and solves a variety of less and more complex problems for the business requirements and technology. Supports projects in identifying routine business requirements, project and process specifications within identified team.Provide input and guide the business unit on determining the best solutions and system requirements for their specific needs. Ability to provide accurate, timely & responsive services to the business unit.Create and manage large or small testing efforts partnering with both business and tech partners.Support development work associated with client correspondence generated from a variety of document platforms.Support document analysis and impact assessments from projects or enhancement initiatives to identify and implement changes to documents.Create design specifications as well as troubleshoot and resolve routine and less-complex problems for the business unit as it relates to business requirements and technology.Manage multiple relationships across the organization, and at times with external parties and clients. Be the main point of contact to answer questions within business analyst area of expertise. Act as liaison among business leaders, staff, and utility functions to gather information and share best practices, and to ensure initiatives are executed appropriately.Provide and review reports of quantitative and qualitative data produced both internally and externally to the company. Ensure accuracy and appropriate report design. Be responsible for resolution to reporting issues as they arise. Reports may be of a routine nature or may be requested or run on an ad-hoc basis as part of a larger project or special business concern.Present results of analysis and/or recommendations to business managers, utility partners, and at times external parties. Communicate action plans and priorities to appropriate partners.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent3 - 5 years relevant experience (including coding experience in Visual Basic or similar)Ability to multi-task and work on complex projects, participate in user and system requirements to assess impacts to client correspondence and develop user and system requirementsSolid analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand technology as it relates to the business.Experience in providing accurate, timely & responsive services on complex problemsAbility to establish and maintain strong relationships within the department and across business functionsSelf-motivated and highly organized with an ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to communicate technology-related information and clearly detail implementation processes.Experience interacting effectively with business partners and key stakeholders with ability to escalate issues when necessary.
