As a Gameplay Engineer focused on Player Interactions and Physics, you'll improve and create new VR-native experiences. Your bread and butter will be how players throw objects, catch objects, run, collide, fly, ride, etc., and the physics system that powers it all. Making the interactions fun isn’t the only goal, as they must also be networked - so experience with how physics works over a network is critical for success. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Develop New Gameplay: Utilize Unity and VR expertise to create new VR-native experiences and interactions for a multiplayer environment.

Refine Interactions: Enhance existing interactions like throwing and catching objects, running, colliding, flying, riding, and more.

Own Core Physics: Create and refine the physics system for network play in an innovative VR space.

Collaborate on Accessibility & User-Friendliness: Work with cross-disciplinary teams to enhance the overall player experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency in Unity: Experience creating and shipping games in Unity (Required).

Knowledge of C#: Demonstrated proficiency in C# programming.

Gameplay Engineering Skills: Understanding of core gameplay interactions and physics.

Multiplayer Game Development: Expertise with real-time multiplayer game development.

Optimization Skills: Good at game optimization to yield the highest performance; experience with mobile game development in Unity is a plus.

Team Collaboration & Problem-Solving Abilities: Capability to communicate effectively across various disciplines and creatively address challenges.
