As a Gameplay Engineer focused on Game Modes, you’ll deliver new ways to play in Gym Class. Ship structured game modes for new sports, improve existing modes, and design entirely new ones based on community behavior — it’s all on the table. This role is an excellent growth opportunity for someone that’s shipped a variety of multiplayer game modes in Unity, and has an eye for architecture and modular, reusable systems. Note - **VR experience not required and this is not a prototyping role.**

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop and Ship Quality Game Modes: Implement new ways to play structured games in Gym Class across various sports and activities in a real-time multiplayer environment.
Build Modular: You take a modular approach to building systems for scale and reusability.
Bias Towards Shipping: Work with an eye toward quick iteration cycles to release content to a hungry player base.
Audience Engagement: You develop for end users and utilize close feedback loops to deliver new and enhanced experiences.
Collaborate on Accessibility & User-Friendliness: Work with cross-disciplinary teams to enhance the overall player experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in Unity: Experience creating and shipping games in Unity. VR experience not required. We want to see shipped work, less so prototypes.
Knowledge of C#: Demonstrated proficiency in C# programming.
Systems Engineering: Experience implementing modular systems for long-term use and scalability.
Optimization Skills: Good at game optimization to yield the highest performance; experience with mobile game development in Unity is a plus.
Team Collaboration & Problem-Solving Abilities: Capability to communicate effectively across various disciplines and creatively address challenges.
