Position Summary...
What you'll do...
User Discovery: Requires knowledge of user experience strategies, user interviews and surveys, user journeys, story boards, and contextual inquiries.
Managing Functional Partnerships: Requires knowledge of stakeholder identification and mapping, stakeholder analysis, stakeholder communication, and stakeholder engagement techniques.
Design Research: Requires knowledge of principles of research, best practices of qualitative and quantitative research, and data analysis techniques.
Influencing and Building Stakeholder Consensus: Requires knowledge of verbal/non-verbal behaviors and application of business communication styles.
Driving Customer/Client Needs: Requires knowledge of customer and business problems, journey mapping, and communication techniques.
Usability Testing and Iteration: Requires knowledge of user profiles, testing scenarios, and documentation.
Interaction Design: Requires knowledge of user-centered design principles and information hierarchy principles.
Visual Design: Requires knowledge of user-centered design principles and design tools.
Prototyping: Requires knowledge of prototyping disciplines, tools, and techniques.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, and ensuring business needs are being met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position:
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
Option 2: 7 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications...
Outlined below are the optional preferred qualifications for this position:
Design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate).
Driving product development in a user experience area.
Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area.
Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare).
Knowledge of accessibility best practices.
