SUMMARYHart is looking for a Director/Associate Director to join the Media & Analytics department. This position will serve as the media lead across multiple accounts, applying their media expertise to support junior team members in the direction for their work, and guide the Integrated Media group’s overall product quality & capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Account leads to understand the business of core accounts, align on campaign parameters and identify proactive opportunities to support business objectives.
Build solid, cross-channel media strategies, infusing brand goals, consumer analysis, marketplace insights, and channel trends/best practices.
Design client presentations that clearly communicate the strategy & rationale, and connect from client objective, through channel recommendation and KPI/measurement identification.
Maintain relationships in the industry across all channels, resources & systems, identifying new tools, tech and solutions to bring to clients.
Collaborate with Performance Media team as needed to develop tactical media plans, including target/tactic recommendations and vendor selection/media mix summaries.
Oversee the execution & stewardship of the buys, partnering where relevant with the Performance Marketing and Analytics groups, negotiating with vendors & evaluating RFPs.
Supervise Integrated Media Supervisors and Planner/Buyer team members, supporting their development and ensuring quality of work.
Guide client reporting/performance recaps, highlighting KPI performance/optimizations as well as end of campaign deeper learnings & implications.
Access proprietary & secondary tools & sources to guide strategy and ensure buy stewardship/accuracy of performance.
Work collaboratively across other departments (PR, Account, Strategy, Creative, Web, Finance) to ensure connectivity of media to the broader marketing strategy.
Lead new business development & presentations as needed.
Includes client and agency location travel as needed (QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Advertising, etc), and 10+ years’ experience. Agency experience preferred.
Cross-channel planning experience required.
Traditional Media buying experience preferred.
Data-Driven strategic mindset a must.
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
Proficiency across a variety of media planning and buying tools, including: Nielsen, ComScore, MRI-Simmons, Scarborough, WARC, Kantar, Strata, Digital Platforms (FB/IG, GA4).
Strong Microsoft Office skills – particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
At least 3+ years’ experience working with mid- to senior-level clients directly.
Broad B2C and B2B experience preferred.
