Job Summary: Lead and set brand strategy for multiple brand responsibilities while providing innovative brand marketing and sales solutions to increase the overall viability and profitability of the larger portfolio of TFE brands.

Broad Responsibilities
Leads the key analysis of relevant business situations using a variety of data sources to help shape planning decisions.Leads the marketing department point of view for brand volume forecasts and plans.Leads the execution of short- and long-term objectives, strategies and tactics consistent with established brand vision.Leads the development and implements key initiatives of brand plans through thorough understanding of customer and sales needs and implementation of promotional strategies.
Specific Functions
Creation and execution of annual plans for assigned brands including but not limited to: Strategic sales and marketing initiatives, budget planning, wine offering enhancements, packaging, promotions, digital, advertising, POS, creative and educational materials and events.Engage in regular business analysis to provide informed input to/from sales and on areas of opportunity. Contribute to demand planning.Liase with winemaking on vintage specifics, wine style and points of difference, competitive set research and long-term planning.Creation and delivery of impactful brand and portfolio presentations to sales, senior management and trade.Copywrite and oversee design of sales and consumer facing materials. Must have experience creating marketing materials.Drive thoughtful education and passionate storytelling.Create an effective toolbox of selling tools to support brand success. Collect feedback and adjust as needed to meet sales objectives.Work with DTC/E-commerce teams on ensuring brand cohesion and strategy alignment.Strategic pricing, positioning and competitive set analysis needed with a basic understanding of profitability metrics.Demonstrate strong financial acumen, including accurate and thorough budget and P&L management.Partner management as assigned and keen ability to bridge company and partner needs and expectations.
Qualifications:
4 year degree, business/marketing preferred.3 or more years of relevant brand marketing experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry; wine industry preferred.Passion for fine wine and desire to expand knowledge.Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, including the ability to forge relationships across the organization at a variety of levels. Must be a good listener. Additional language skills a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated by the ability to make timely and sound decisions.Intellectual curiosity: Ability to think creatively and ‘outside the box’ to reach conclusions based on fact as well as intuition.Strength in a collaborative, team supportive environment. Embrace a “roll up your sleeves” mentality.Strong presentation skills to include the ability to present to management and large groups with confidence and clarity.Excellent project management, organizational, planning and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize with minimal direction.Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and ideally experience working with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI etc).Can handle multiple competing priorities at any given time.Ideally has been in role with leadership responsibilities.Ability to work night/weekend events.
Working Conditions:
Office environmentUsually work a standard work week. Monday- ThursdayExtensive computer work.May be required to work at any of TFE’s locations, but primarily in the Napa office.Frequent deadline pressures.Numerous projects in progress at any given time.Comply with company safety regulations.
Salary Range: $100,100.00 - $128,200.00
The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location. TFE offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, PTO, wellness programs and fertility and family building benefits. We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharing contribution.
