Full TimePosition Summary:The University of Idaho is seeking to hire a non-tenure track assistant or associate professor for a clinical faculty position in the Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC) as a psychologist to provide leadership of its APA-accredited doctoral internship training program and contribute to the agency's core administrative services.Minimum Qualifications:PhD, PsyD, or Doctorate in counseling/clinical psychology from an APA accredited programCurrent associate professor status for consideration at the rank of associate professorPsychologist Licensure in current state of residence and eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in the State of Idaho within 6 months of hireA minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience, with at least 1 year including administrative or significant leadership experience as a professional psychologistExperience providing clinical supervision and/or facilitating training seminars with doctoral practicum students and/or doctoral internsExperience in providing clinical services to an adult populationExperience in providing risk assessment and crisis interventionExperience in working with a multidisciplinary team and a commitment to effective teamwork in a culture that values collaboration and trustPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a college or university counseling centerAPA accredited internship in a college or university counseling centerAdministrative and supervisory experience in organizational managementExperience in providing culturally competent services to a diverse client populationExperience and interest in providing brief counselingExperience in producing scholarly activity (professional presentations, research, publications)Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:To be determined based on the role's requirements.Posting Number:
