The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position. The department’s primary interest is in macroeconomics, particularly monetary economics. The successful candidate will teach introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses, including money and banking and financial markets and institutions, as well as share in the department’s commitment to grow graduate programs. Primarily based at the Fairfield campus, the candidate may also elect to teach at the Bridgeport campus.A Ph.D. in economics completed by August 2025, an active research program, and a commitment to teaching excellence and innovation in using technology are required.
