Responsibilities:
Website Design and Development:
Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of visually striking and user-friendly websites for a wide range of clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, copywriters, and marketing strategists, to ensure the seamless integration of design elements and content.
User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design:
Apply best practices in UX and UI design to create intuitive and compelling user experiences that enhance website usability and engagement. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate designs for optimal user satisfaction.
Responsive Design:
Ensure all websites are responsive and optimized for various devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones, to deliver a consistent and user-friendly experience.
Branding and Visual Identity Integration:
Incorporate clients' brand guidelines and visual identity into website designs, ensuring a cohesive and consistent representation of their brands online.
Web Performance Optimization:
Collaborate with developers to optimize website performance, including page speed, loading times, and overall responsiveness, to deliver an exceptional user experience.
Website Maintenance and Updates:
Oversee the ongoing maintenance and updates of existing websites, implementing design improvements and content changes as needed.
Stay Current with Design and Technology Trends:
Continuously research and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the team.
Mentorship and Leadership:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth and development in website design and digital marketing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or a related field.
Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a Website Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful website projects for clients in various industries.
Proficiency in web design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
Solid understanding of UX principles, user-centered design, and responsive design techniques.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively collaborate with development teams.
Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
Leadership qualities and a passion for mentoring and guiding junior designers.
Must understand how to use themes inside of
WordPress , Wix and Shopify.
In this role, your
availability is required from Monday to Thursday, 10 AM to 4 PM
Central Time. This schedule aligns with our project demands, and your contributions during these hours are crucial to our success.
It's important to note that this is a project-based position, and
you will be compensated solely for the hours worked on specific tasks or projects . This compensation structure allows us to offer flexibility and aligns with the nature of project-driven work.

You will be paid for the actual hours worked on each project. We value your dedication and effort, and your compensation will reflect the tasks completed.
Flexibility:
