www.ucihealth.org.Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary:As an ED Registration Rep, responsibilities include interviewing and gathering complete and accurate demographic data to complete the registration process efficiently and expeditiously. Follows EMTALA's regulations, not acting on insurance until the medical screening exam (MSE) is complete. Collects appropriate monies after the MSE is complete and obtains authorization for treatment and/or admission. Obtains appropriate signatures on all registration forms, and scans the appropriate forms.
