Real Estate Finance Attorney

We are searching for a highly-qualified Real Estate Finance Attorney to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for real estate finance and significant experience in handling complex transactions, including loan preparation, negotiations, and due diligence for various real estate dealings. Join us and contribute to managing extensive real estate financial projects across multiple sectors such as retail, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, and hospitality. Compensation:

$220,000.00 - $310,000.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Represent our firm and clients in real estate financing, acquisitions, and dispositions.

Prepare and negotiate intricate loan documentation and manage the closing of these loans.

Review and analyze due diligence materials associated with real estate transactions.

Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on a variety of real estate transactions.

Collaborate with attorneys within the firm to manage complex real estate finance matters effectively.

Work with CMBS lenders, special and master servicers, commercial banks, insurers, and private lenders to facilitate financial transactions.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

JD from a top-tier law school with a proven strong academic record.

Active Bar admission in Texas.

At least 4-6 years of substantial real estate finance experience.

Proven ability to prepare and negotiate complex loan documents.

Experience conducting due diligence for real estate loan closings.

Demonstrated experience in recapitalizations, joint ventures, and related corporate and financial transactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in an AmLaw 200 law firm is highly preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

High degree of professional ethics and integrity.

Expertise in legal and regulatory issues pertinent to real estate finance.

Skills:

Expert-level proficiency in complex legal drafting and document preparation.

Strong negotiation skills specific to real estate and finance law.

Detail-oriented with a significant focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior attorneys.

Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
