StellenbeschreibungTogether, we break through – as Event Management Lead (all genders)Make your mark:Contribute to the Digital Transformation. Lead the establishment of processes and create positive customer experiences with all events formats.Develop robust policies and processes for event management, ensure agile organization and resource management in coordination with Procurement, Compliance, and Finance.Lead strategic projects and promote a culture of innovation within the team.Be a strong partner for all Business Units, driving customer-focused events across the organization.Event Leadership:

Oversee and manage the end-to-end process for all significant internal and external events (including congresses), ensuring seamless execution whether face-to-face, virtual, or hybrid.Innovation Driver:

Actively contribute and foster innovation within the event team, leading the digital transformation journey.Process Optimization:

Establish and maintain efficient, robust, and user-friendly event processes, ensuring adherence and continuous enhancement. Participate in crafting an event ecosystem focused on internal and external stakeholders.Team Leadership:

Provide leadership for the event team, including interns, working students, freelancers, and agencies. Inspire and guide the team to achieve high performance.Compliance & Budget:

Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and in-process controls. Oversee budget management, cost reviews, and ensure efficient and cost-effective event formats with a focus on customer satisfaction.Supplier Management:

Continuously review and optimize the supplier network in coordination with Procurement, conducting negotiations with external service providers.Internal Meeting Policies:

Create, roll out, monitor, and continuously optimize internal meeting policies. Ensure training and ongoing knowledge transfer for event staff regarding relevant guidelines and procedures.Stakeholder Partnerships:

Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders such as Compliance, Finance, Communications, and BTS.Strategic Projects:

Co-lead the cross-functional and transformative project "Maximace Events," driving process optimization for meetings and events. Create value by establishing new service offerings, providing data for ACE, and improving both internal and external customer experiences.Strategic Development:

Drive the strategic evolution of event management at AbbVie towards a sustainable structure.

QualifikationenThis is how you can make a differenceBachelor's degree in a relevant field, ideally in business economics or a comparable qualification.Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, with a successful track record in leading and managing complex, large-scale meetings and events.Proficient in MS Office and other digital tools, open to new technologies.Strong communication skills, collaborative team player, and decisive decision-maker. Ability to effectively communicate and assert knowledge, interests, and positions respectfully across various stakeholders and management levels. Ability to interact across all management levels globally and collaborate cross-functionally.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop new processes and guidelines; strong proactive mindset and project management skills.
