Job DescriptionSUMMARY
The Sports Marketing Coordinator helps support sports product marketing initiatives through various channels including advertising, sponsorships, events, promotions, contests, videos, solicitations, catalogs, website, influencers and social media.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates creation and production of marketing and sales support materials.
Coordinates updated product banners and marketing assets on company website.
Assists with marketing support at trade shows and events.
Assists with online marketing and social media initiatives.
Coordinates company’s marketing B2B and D2C mailers.
Presents creative ideas for campaigns, product launches, events, etc.
Researches, organizes and maintains marketing inventory, including event staff apparel, promo items, sales incentives, event supplies, etc.
Works closely with brand managers, project managers, and legal team to secure necessary legal and licensor approvals for all marketing materials.
Assists with creation, direction and editing of marketing videos.
Assists with the execution of sponsorship assets and acquisitions.
Coordinates contests/sweepstakes, including legal approvals, prizing, events and all communication.
Coordinates charitable efforts, community outreach initiatives and programs.
Works with Human Resources to recruit talent for marketing internships.
Creates and maintains project flow spreadsheet to ensure delivery of critical deadlines.
Evaluates ROI post campaign and offers recommendations for improvement.
Coordinates creation of promotional card packs and marketing inserts.
Writes blog posts that help support marketing initiatives, product launches, and events.
INTERACTION
This position will interact closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager, as well as various cross-functional teams, company staff members and external partners.
EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a closely related field or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in marketing, social media, promotions, advertising or related area.

Competent knowledge of commonly used marketing, promotional and administrative support concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to move from concept to concrete expression of ideas.
Strong focus on executing overall marketing objectives and strategies.
Knowledge of sports and entertainment, trading card or game industry a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, problem solving, customer service and relationship building abilities.
Strong organizational, writing, editing and proofreading skills.
Ability to handle multiple high priority projects with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to act as company representative and interface with customers at all levels.
Ability to travel on behalf of the company.
High energy, motivated self-starter.
Knowledge of general video creation and editing a plus.
