Turns out this requires a lot of talented people - especially in Product and Design - so we’re looking to add a Senior Sourcer to our recruiting team!You’ll play a critical role in hiring great Product and Design talent by building a strong pipeline for the highest priority roles across those organizations.Here are some things you’ll do on the job:Develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s values, brand, and productsWork closely with recruiters, hiring managers and interviewers across the business to help build high-performing, diverse teamsMake a friendly first impression on candidates and act as the living embodiment of our cultural valuesManage the top funnel of the recruiting pipeline from initial outreach to their first interviews, with an emphasis on engaging passive candidatesScreen candidates with a keen eye for alignment with our open roles and Mercury valuesChampion diversity and inclusion initiativesExperiment with creative ways of sourcing and analyze their effectiveness.Actively think of ways to improve and scale sourcing processesStay informed about industry trends, and act as a subject matter expert for the wider teamYou should:Have 5+ years of technical recruiting and sourcing experience in either Design or ProductSee yourself as an expert sourcer and enjoy seeking out passive talentBe open to working on roles outside of Product and Design as neededBe comfortable taking initial calls with candidatesHave an almost psychic level of empathy and intuitionCommunicate with clarity, thought, and precisionEnjoy building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teamsLike working in a fast-paced environmentHave experience working at a high-growth tech startupHave a genuine passion for sourcing and everything that comes with itThe total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits.Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are the following:US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $126,700 - $149,000 USDUS employees outside of New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $114,000 - $134,100 USDCanadian employees (any location): $115,300 - $135,600 CAD
