Turns out this requires a lot of talented people, so we’re looking to add a Business Sourcer to our team.As a sourcing partner to our business recruiting team, you’ll take ownership of the candidate pipeline for a big part of the company and have a lot of impact. This role is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion.Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s values, brand, and product.Work closely with hiring managers and interviewers across the business to help build high-performing, diverse teams.Make a friendly first impression on candidates and act as the living embodiment of our cultural values.Manage the top funnel of the recruiting pipeline from initial outreach to their first interviews, with an emphasis on engaging passive candidates.Screen candidates with a keen eye for alignment with our open roles and Mercury values.Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives.Experiment with creative ways of sourcing and analyze their effectiveness.Actively think of ways to improve and scale sourcing processes.Stay informed about industry trends, and act as a subject matter expert for the wider team.Qualifications
Have 1-2 years of sourcing experience, ideally for business rolesSee yourself as an expert sourcer and enjoy seeking out passive talentHave an almost psychic level of empathy and intuitionCommunicate with clarity, thought, and precisionEnjoy building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teamsLike working in a fast-paced environmentHave experience working at a high-growth tech startupHave a genuine passion for sourcing and everything that comes with it!The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits.Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.Salary Ranges
US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $105,500 - $124,100US employees outside of the New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle or the San Francisco Bay Area: $95,000 - $111,700Canadian employees (any location): CAD 96,000 - 112,000We use Covey as part of our hiring and/or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT.
