Our analytic solutions bridge content, data, and analytics to help business, people, and society become stronger, more resilient, and sustainable.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with Compliance Monitoring concerning internal compliance assessments and risk reviews, and with appropriate Compliance, Regulatory and other teams concerning any potential external audits or examinations to produce responsive procedural or other documentation as appropriate. Collaborate with Enterprise Risk Management to ensure company risk assessment profiles or other documentation concerning corporate compliance topics are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changed or emerging risks.Design and build processes to administer corporate policy library, including adapting documentation to standard categories and templates, assisting policy/standard owners in the drafting process, shepherding policies through corresponding initial approvals, coordinating annual review cycles and maintaining the policy document library for active and retired documents in accordance with retention schedules and processes.Design and build processes to facilitate conversion of U.S. record retention schedule to a global retention schedule, and set objectives to advance information governance (retention) program maturity.Coordinate and manage company Privacy and Compliance Champions program in collaboration with the Privacy Program Director, including establishing a Charter including Roles & Responsibilities, and the structure of the monthly team meetings and related initiatives.Develop and maintain hotline & whistleblower administration processes, as well as define and report on associated key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), leveraging the support of the compliance manager triaging the hotline.Support the Chief Privacy Officer and Compliance Governance Lead in refining company training objectives and criteria, and leveraging the support of the compliance training team administering the learning platform and Commitments Month process and reporting.Define and document compliance governance framework components and processes; define and report quarterly on associated key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop appropriate corresponding presentation materials for company department, ERMC and/or Board of Directors updates.Serve on cross-functional working groups, committees or other governance bodies to support company compliance governance processes.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree10+ years' experience as a people manager or compliance program leader10-15+ years' experience with leading compliance governance programs, including demonstrated experience in defining and managing governance activities and reporting concerning associated key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)10+ years' experience in leading and performing compliance governance functional responsibilities, including impact or risk assessments, managing corporate hotline matters, managing corporate policy administration, information governance program administration and corporate training program administration10+ years' experience leading corporate compliance-focused legislative and regulatory change management processes, from communication through implementation verification and maintaining associated documentation10+ years' experience in working with and demonstrated knowledge of key U.S. and global compliance laws and regulations (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act, OFAC regulations, SOX, Consumer Protection Act) as well as key regulator guidance, such as the DOJ Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs guidanceStrong substantive knowledge of and experience working to cross-industry demonstrated best practices for corporate compliance and ethics activities, and engagement with compliance or ethics best practices associations (ex: Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics, Ethisphere's Business and Ethics Leadership Alliance, ARMA International)Experience managing and responding to regulatory inquiries or examinations, and oversight of implementing any potentially required corrective actions or complying with any related regulatory ordersProven ability to effectively build collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders across the company to drive awareness of compliance concepts and requirements, facilitate compliance with applicable laws and encourage best ethics and governance practicesExemplary written and verbal communication and project management skills, with the ability to employ emotional intelligence and a sense of humor in personal interactions while still retaining executive presence and a professional demeanorExpertise in company compliance and change management practices, with demonstrated advanced understanding and application of effective risk management principles and practicesAbility to independently define objectives and goals, as well as simultaneously plan, manage and execute multiple and cross-functional high visibility, high complexity and high impact privacy-related projects and initiativesDemonstrated experience and expertise in oversight of corporate training programs, as well as the ability to independently draft and deliver compliance training modules and related materialsExemplary problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to independently develop strategies and solutions to drive efficiencies and resolve potential system compatibility or other operational challengesDemonstrated experience leading, inspiring and overseeing diverse teams through complex initiatives to deliver impactful resultsTravel Required: 5%Preferred:Compliance certifications such as CCEP, CCEP-I or a graduate Masters in Corporate Compliance; information governance certifications such as IGP.Significant demonstrated high profile project leadership experience or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification10+ years' experience at a U.S. regulated financial services company, with insurers and insurance product experienceAdditional Information:For over 50 years, Verisk has been the leading data analytics and technology partner to the global insurance industry by delivering value to our clients through expertise and scale.
