Financial ERP System Specialist Senior - Finance - Day

General Summary
As a member of the Financial Systems team, works closely with Finance and other business teams to support the ongoing development, analysis, and user support needs of the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP application. Serves as the subject matter expert for the staff team members.

Essential Functions:
Serves as a well-rounded resource with Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud experience in multiple modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Projects, Asset Management, Grants, Cash Management and Leases.
Reviews and improves process flows and user documentation for different Oracle related modules and enhance user knowledge and competency.
Assists with business process re-engineering as needed, financial data structure redesign and related business rule updates to enable adoption of best practices.
Contributes to the development of test cases, user guides, reference manuals, training materials and code release artifacts as appropriate.
Participates in quarterly release testing.
Works with end users to resolve day to day production issues. Provides direct contact with users to resolve issues with financial business applications.
Works directly with Oracle support by opening Service Requests and implemented solutions.
Drives best practices for the Oracle ERP Finance modules.
Ability to make decisions at the project team level, and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis.
Partners with key super users to develop and evolve the applications within the suite while ensuring a stable, productive environment. Works cross-functionally in analyzing, designing, and developing business solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement in operational performance.
Travel Requirements:
Estimated Amount: 5% - Occasional travel.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or Information Technology. Required
Master's Degree in IT and/or Business Administration. Preferred
Work Experience:
5 years experience working with Oracle ERP Finance modules. Required
Healthcare experience strongly preferred
Accounting/Finance functional experience preferred
Oracle Cloud Fusion implementation/optimization experience strongly preferred
Courses and Training:
One or more certifications in Oracle ERP products. Upon Hire Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Great communicator with the ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences.
Must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess strong public speaking skills.
Knowledge of Oracle EPM products/processes (FCCS, ARCS, EDM, PBCS).
Skilled at Oracle SmartView and/or Essbase data cubes.
