Benefits ManagerLocation : Chicago (Hybrid)Salary : $150,000 – $160,000 base, plus bonus eligibility

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of skilled benefits professionals, fostering a supportive and effective working environment
Resolve claims issues and handle inquiries regarding benefit programs with exceptional customer service
Manage leave processes and enhance benefits communication to support employee needs
Oversee the Insurance Hotline and Mailbox, ensuring fast and effective support
Analyze trends and ROI from utilization reports, contributing to data-driven benefits strategy
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations (CMS, DOL, COBRA, ACA, PFL, CAA, etc.)
Collaborate with top insurance providers, consultants, and legal advisors to develop and finalize contracts and plan documents
Conduct annual benefits benchmarking surveys, ensuring the firm remains competitive in the market
Provide updates in monthly HR meetings, supporting HR teams with the latest insurance and benefit information
Oversee open enrollment processes, including quality testing and coordination with HRIS, IT, and vendor partners
Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor’s degree required
Experience : 7+ years in benefits administration, with strong project management and organizational skills
Preferred : Prior management experience and a background in transformation and change leadership
Skills : High attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion
