The RoleOur Senior Order Management Specialist is a key player to the service we provide our customers. As an Order Management Specialist, Sr., you will ensure the most challenging / complex customer orders are processed in an efficient and timely manner, in compliance with company requirements and quality expectations, and help ensure an excellent customer transaction experience. While processing orders, you will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with other individuals and departments as necessary through multiple levels of management. As an order processing subject matter expert, the Order Management Specialist, Sr. is key in assisting with workflow improvements in process and systems, performing quality review of orders processed by others in the department, providing training, and other responsibilities. Providing leadership across the team and participating in knowledge transfers to assist up leveling other team members is important in this role. This position is a prime opportunity for an experienced OM professional looking to contribute with a high-tech industry leader.
Your day-to-day
Review contracts and order paperwork for completeness and accuracy
Work with the Deals Desk, Sales Coordinators, Sales Representatives, or others to obtain the necessary documentation required for each order
Track deals through document revisions and delivery of products
Accurately enter deal information into Salesforce.com and D365 for order processing, invoicing and commissions/forecasting purposes
Process orders to meet and exceed expectations in alignment with high quality output
Proactively communicate issues back to management and follow order management processes Support internal audit and SOX controls
Assist in developing workflow improvements, including process (recommending workflow, creating process documentation, etc.) and systems (assisting in the development of business requirements, performing systems testing, etc.)
Perform a quality review of orders processed by others in the department
Provide training to peers
Participate in related cross-functional projects that will help scale the business
Contribute to additional Order Management activities as assigned
What you bring to the team
Skills and experience typically commensurate with at least 2 years as an Order Management Specialist in a complex environment, while contributing in a growing capacity
Demonstrated leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functions
Well-organized; able to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize
ERP (D365, SAP, or Oracle) and Salesforce.com experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with extended hours & weekends required during end of quarter
Self-motivated with a knack for being meticulous / detail oriented

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:Base Pay Range: 27.87 - 40.88 USD
All other cities and states excluding those listed above:Base Pay Range: 25.53 - 37.44 USD
