Honeywell is actively recruiting for a Senior TradeCompliance Analyst to join our Import organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a hands-on,Subject Matter Expert for complex and high-level import compliance initiativesand transactions across all of Honeywell's industry-leading business groups!

We are especially looking for someone to GoBeyond by being that person who over delivers on commitmentsand people trust to get things done and to Be Courageous, not afraid to confront problems or adversity, and willingto work outside of their comfort zone.This role encompasses some of the following strategicobjectives of the Trade Compliance function:Ensuring import transactions are executed in compliance with all applicable trade regulationsServing as a Subject Matter Expert with respect to complex import compliance initiatives, including process improvements and digital transformationUnderstanding and interpreting International Trade Regulations, with an emphasis on US Customs RegulationsRefining and overseeing site-based import programs to ensure proper application and execution of customs laws, processes, and proceduresIdentifying opportunities for process improvement, with significant emphasis on solutions that align with Honeywell's digital transformation objectivesProviding guidance to Logistics, Finance, Customer Service, and other functions on compliance with international trade regulationsEnsuring effective management of customs brokersMonitoring import data to identify potential compliance escapes and duty trends

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDraft and implement trade compliance policies, procedures, and compliance audit reportsEstablish a robust operating system for key processes and customs correspondencesEngage with business units in periodic self-assessment processes and audits; implement and monitor corrective actionsDeliver training to small and large audiencesManage broker rating systems, performance assessment, standard operating processes and communicationsManage recordkeeping and import proceduresManage, digitize, and standardize the collection of import data and management tools across multiple strategic business groups.Drive data inputs into the Process Excellence Team for leadership reportingManage duty-savings recovery programs for the USSupport SAP, GTS, and other system deployments.Willingness to travel 10%, some of which may be internationalWork special projects as required

YOU MUST HAVE6+ years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a multinational companyStrong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctionsExperience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and compliance audits
