We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead a small team of analysts in conjunction with the current VP, FP&A. This individual will serve as a critical business partner to C-level executives, overseeing key financial processes such as forecasting and monthly reporting, and supporting strategic initiatives like mergers and acquisitions (M&A), lender or private equity (PE) investor requests. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the software industry with a solid understanding of best practices in planning and forecasting, be excited to dig-in and support next level growth and process maturity utilizing knowledge of planning/ forecasting tools, and advanced financial modeling skills. Essential Job Duties

Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of FP&A analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, providing insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making. Leverage financial expertise to help business partners understand financial implications of their decisions, optimize resource allocation, and identify growth opportunities. Financial Processes: Oversee key financial processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Strategic Initiatives: Support and lead strategic initiatives such as M&A activities, lender or PE investor requests, and other ad hoc projects. Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business planning and decision-making. Tools and Systems: Optimize utilization of current forecasting tool (Adaptive) and support ongoing Finance Tech stack evolution. Performance Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic planning. Other Job Duties

Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leader. Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in analytical field such as Finance, Economics or Math required; MBA, MSF or other advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in FP&A, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated experience in partnering with business leaders to drive financial performance and support strategic initiatives. Extensive experience with planning and forecasting tools, and advanced proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop talent through balancing company needs with individual development goals. Ability to think strategically and translate business strategies into actionable financial plans. Experience in supporting strategic initiatives such as M&A and lender or PE investor requests is highly desirable.

The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $180,000-$190,000, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values. This is a benefits-eligible position.
