Full-timePosition Summary:We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our construction operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry and hands-on experience with Sage 300, managing the financial health and accuracy of our projects.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and job costing.Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for construction projects.Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.Maintain and enhance the internal controls over financial reporting.Oversee cash flow management and develop strategies to optimize working capital.Prepare and manage tax filings and audits.Lead and mentor the accounting team to improve processes and efficiencies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.Proficiency in Sage 300 and construction-specific accounting processes.Strong knowledge of job costing, project accounting, and financial reporting in a construction environment.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Salary:
$120,000 - $150,000 a year
