Kforce has a client that is seeking a Director of Infrastructure Technical Services in San Antonio, TX.
Summary:This candidate should be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the high availability and efficiency of IT systems, and aligning infrastructure operations with strategic goals. The position involves leading service delivery management, configuration, testing, planning, and deployment of solutions to ensure system reliability and scalability. The Director is accountable for the effective operation of all third-party and internally managed IT infrastructure and application services that support business processes throughout the organization.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required, along with five years of relevant experience, or ten years of experience in the field with five years in IT leadership roles.
Candidates should have experience supporting Infrastructure Services both on-premises and in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, MS Azure).
A solid understanding of ITIL and ITSM is necessary, and certification in ITIL adoption processes is preferred.
Formal training in project management is highly desirable.
Systems and Tools:
IT Infrastructure: In-depth knowledge of infrastructure components including Windows OS, MSSQL, NetApp, VDI, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Telephony and Fax: Experience with leading telephony and fax solutions, both on-premises and cloud-based (e.g., CISCO and RightFax).
Networking: Familiarity with next-generation antivirus solutions, and experience with CISCO and Palo Alto technologies is a plus.
Security Tools: Proficiency with EDR/XDR, SIEMs, data loss prevention (DLP), and vulnerability scanning and assessment tools.
Security Frameworks: Experience with HITRUST, NIST, or healthcare-related HIPAA requirements is required.
Compensation and BenefitsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
