SWBC is seeking a talented individual to be responsible for a holistic overview of all Infrastructure, specifically dealing with On-Premise and Azure integrations. Resolves complex business needs and escalated service issues, relating to System and Network Infrastructure including, but not limited to Windows Server, Virtualization, VDI and Networking. Coaches other team members on resolutions, engineering and implementing projects across multiple organizational boundaries. Our leaders recognize that growth, autonomy, work-life balance, professional development, continuous improvement, and a commitment to shared values are key enablers of our success to deliver positive outcomes daily.Essential duties include the following:Provides infrastructure and enterprise guidance exercising discretion and judgment with various operating systems, virtualization, network and cloud technologies.Final escalation point for infrastructure related issues. Detects and fixes infrastructure and enterprise issues in the data center and cloud environments, as well as providing root cause analysis.Responsible for development and understanding of infrastructure in an “end-to-end” manner.Collaborates with other IT groups to provide solid system designs and plans. Participates during research and selection efforts for new technologies. Maintains awareness with current trends. Assists with integration with existing SWBC solutions.Capacity planning, monitoring, and reporting performance of the enterprise technical environment; analyzes tickets including root causes for not meeting service levels and recommended actions to improve performance.Responds to and performs advanced troubleshooting of production, and pre-production issues. Assists in restoring service rapidly, using logical methodologies and tools. Contributes to the escalation communications and participates in timely restoration of service for planned and unplanned changes.Mentors, coaches, and cross-trains entry-level staff on technology frameworks and concepts ensuring the overall quality of the team is improved. Adheres to corporate and department standards, as well as develops standards for organization unit.Develops and automates processes to expedite and streamline workloads, including the use of toolsets and programming code as needed.Recommends and provides status or ad-hoc reports in response to breakdowns and stakeholder requests.Participates in on-call rotation duties after-hours.Performs all other duties as assigned.Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field from a four-year college or university required.Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in infrastructure or cloud environments with design and planning experience in systems, applications, or IT engineering, or related experience with Microsoft technologies. Experience with Linux administration a plus.Must have advanced knowledge of core Microsoft technologies to include systems, M365 cloud & hybrid solutions, AD Schemas and S&S, GPO design, and federated services.Prefer to have one or more of the following Microsoft Certified Solutions Engineer (MCSE) Certification, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Certification, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification, Azure based certifications, and other certifications based on experience.Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Virtualization platforms including advanced Enterprise concepts, particularly hyperconverged infrastructure for server farms and VDI environments.Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Azure auxiliary applications such as Entra ID.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in general networking concepts, including Virtual LAN (VLAN) and subnets, routing and switching technologies, and segmentation.Working knowledge and understanding of enterprise monitoring solutions such as SCOM, SolarWinds, and Splunk.Working knowledge of server administration such as Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Exchange, Certificate Management, System Center Configuration Manager, DFS, and IIS.Working knowledge of programming languages for purposes of automation such as PowerShell, C#, .NET, Java, or Python.General understanding of IT security procedures and standards including NACLs, Security Groups, MFA, and RBAC for IAM.Familiar with techniques & software to document IT architectures, application landscapes, and network & data flow diagrams.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with a wide range of personnel including other IT groups, business stakeholders and senior management.Able to lift and/or push up to 10-20 lbs. of electronic/communications equipment or other documents.Able to stoop, kneel, and stand to access server equipment.SWBC offers:Competitive overall compensation packageWork/Life balanceEmployee engagement activities and recognition awardsYears of Service awardsCareer enhancement and growth opportunitiesEmerging Professionals and Mentor ProgramContinuing education and career certificationsVariety of healthcare coverage optionsTraditional and Roth 401(k) retirement plansLucrative Wellness Program*Based upon employee eligibilityAdditional Information:SWBC is a Substance-Free Workplace and requires pre-employment drug testing.Please note, SWBC does not hire tobacco users as allowed by law.To learn more about SWBC, visit our website at www.SWBC.com.
